Who is Auntie Bridgette? She is the mentor we all wish we had. She is the voice of experience that says, "Yes, you can make that," and the technical expert who knows that a design is only as good as its foundation.
What’s Changing?
The walls are the same, but the vibe has shifted. Auntie Bridgette is taking the lead on our education, bringing a "pattern system" approach to our workshops.

Our First Chapter: The Skirt Pattern System
To celebrate this new era, Auntie Bridgette is hosting our signature 6-week workshop. We start with the Sloper (the foundation of all great design) and move through many silhouettes and style variations.

Created for home sewists, fashion creators, and sewing studios, Pret-a-Patterns bridges the gap between technical excellence and modern lifestyle dressing. Our patterns are thoughtfully engineered, meticulously tested, and designed to support real bodies, real movement, and real creative growth.
From contemporary silhouettes with athletic influence to refined wardrobe essentials, each pattern reflects a deep respect for fit, balance, and construction—without sacrificing style.
We’re currently putting our special touch on our first collection of patterns, grading resources, and educational tools designed to support both emerging and experienced designers.
