We believe that great fashion starts with a great foundation. In this course, we take the mystery out of patternmaking and give you a repeatable system to create any skirt style imaginable. The 6-Week Roadmap • Kickoff: The Perfect Foundation – We start by drafting your "Sloper" (also known as a Block). This is a custom-fit blueprint of your specific measurements. Once you have this, you’ll never have to guess your size again. • Weeks 2–4: Exploring Silhouettes – Learn the "math of movement." We will show you how to transform your foundation into various shapes—think sleek pencil skirts, dramatic flares, A-lines, and more. • Weeks 5–7: Style & Variation – This is where your personality comes in. We’ll cover the design details that make a garment unique: waistbands, pockets, yokes, and creative finishes. You’ll leave not just with a pattern, but with a design system.
